Also, holy shit, Gunn and Corenswet working on set.
That was a fantastic look at them working together. (Also, Gunn reminds me of Hec in looks and mannerisms!)

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. A brief article about that clip: [link]
I finally saw Sinners last night, as it's streaming on Apple. That was good! I can see how it would have been gorgeous on a big screen, but there was enough blood I was ok with not seeing it on a big screen. The cast was great and the music was amazing.
Had a thought or two about "The Last Showgirl" here. [link]
God, I love how much Gunn gets Superman. Like, I was pretty confident after GotG 3 that he'd do Clark justice, but DAMN, he just gets him.
I enjoyed The Thursday Murder Club, especially Joyce, but what about Bogdan! He's kind of important to the other books.
I KNOW! I am distressed about that. Not to mention Donna and Bogdan don't actually meet until the 4th book, I think?
I know they had to make changes just to fit the story into a movie but that is egregious. There are other things I am more minorly not happy about, that one requires fixing.
Yes, I enjoyed it, but maybe I remembered too much about the books. They skipped over the priest and nun storyline completely . Which isn't unusual in adaptations, but I enjoyed that diversion in the book.
Still, bring it on with the excellent cast. Sure did clean up Ron.
Additionally, a dear friend from high school was named Bogdan, which, of course, holds him in a special place in my heart.
Oh, I watched with my sister, who hadn't read the books, and she didn't like Elizabeth at all. Understandable, but my opinion of the character is based on so much more.
I haven't read it recently enough to remember a lot of plot points, but I love Bogdan!
