That was DELIGHTFUL. Corenswet was really damn good. And Nicholas Hoult was a great Lex Luthor. Better than most. (Though it also remains true that no live-action Lex Luthor lives up to Clancy Brown's animated Lex in the Justice League cartoon. He set a high bar.)
Perfect Guy Gardner A+ 10/10 no notes.
The entire scene at the Hall of Justice really was shot inside Union Terminal. I think I missed 75% of the dialogue in that scene because my brain just kept going "It's so gorgeous and now everybody gets to see how gorgeous it is!!!"
In conclusion, I'm not wrong when I say that
Jimmy Olsen's dick
saved the world. Or at least
stopped Lex Luthor.
I did not see that one coming.
Also: I totally cried at the end of the movie when
the video of Clark's parents was of the Kents.
I am a big sap.
Now that was a Superman movie. Why did they ever let Zack Snyder get his hands on Superman?

Brooding Dudebros love his shit.
It’s pretty remarkable how much DC improved across the board, from comics to movies, once they got rid of Geoff Johns and Dan DiDio. The whole company was infected with this dudebro mentality.

Seriously. (I do love the early-2000s Geoff Johns Teen Titans run, though.)
James Gunn posts the full mural from the Hall of Justice.
Good to see B'wana Beast and Vibe getting their props.
Edit: No, wait, that's Freedom Beast, not B'wana Beast.
Finally saw Superman. I really enjoyed it and while I think they might have used the John Williams' theme one too many times overall it still gave me goosebumps every time it played.
Guy was absolutely perfect. Giant dick but still enough of a good guy to
use his ring to block out the angry crowd while Superman was clearly having a bad time emotionally and also to go step in to protect the people when Superman had to deal with the rift.
Speaking of
the rift
it made zero sense for it to work the way it did but I didn't really care.
Holy crap is Rachel Brosnahan a perfect Lois. No notes.
Mr. Terrific was fantastic and I'm excited to see what they do with the character. (Also, I'm glad Edi Gathegi got another chance at playing a superhero after the poor way Darwin was handled in the X-Men movies.)
