I had a few issues with it trying to do too much but I was also sitting 4th row center in IMAX 70mm which was really too close for me to truly appreciate it.

I tried to pay attention to the gore level, and it seemed to me that while it was pretty bloody and the violence was violent I would not describe it as gory. But I can’t explain what I mean by that, so probably not helpful.

Right? When The Math Greek proposed it as a long-distance movie date, I was like "Okay, but only if I can get an IMAX seat." I mean, it's right there, seemed a shame not to go for it. (He saw it in 70mm at the Vista, a format even rarer than mine.) Oddly enough, the movie turned out to be more romantic and sexy than either of us thought it would be.
