That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

It was in our local theaters last weekend too, and I took Rose and a few friends to see it for her 12th birthday! I'd never seen it but always wanted to, and it did not disappoint. (My main takeaway? Dang, Oded Fehr is smoking hot.)

You're not wrong. He's also aged like a fine goddamn wine.

But honestly, the whole main cast is super hot: Rachel Weisz, Brendan Fraser, John Hannah, and Oded Fehr are a deadly combination of hotness.

Brendan Fraser has never really done it for me (or else I probably would have watched it long ago!), but I'm with you on Rachel Weisz.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Brendan Fraser has never really done it for me

I...I understand all of these words individually, but...?????

Rachel Weisz, Brendan Fraser, John Hannah, and Oded Fehr are a deadly combination of hotness.

TRUTH

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Saw both The Fall Guy and Babes this week and both were lots of fun, though the humor in Babes was not exactly my style so I much preferred The Fall Guy. Plus, Gosling.

I’m rewatching Paul Auster’s Smoke. Least surprising cause of death ever.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, I loved that movie but I have never rewatched it. Does have an air of inevitability, doesn’t it

The Zendaya sexy tennis movie is quite enjoyable, even if the slo-mo camera made me want to smack the director in the face more than once. But the core relationship and lead performances are enough to make it work.

First look at David Corenswet’s Superman.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Look, I like Superman as much as the next girl. But do we have to do it again? I feel like we just got away from having to recount the story of Bruce Wayne's parents in every other movie.
