Spider-Verse fucking killed it at last night's Annie Awards, winning in all seven categories it was nominated. If it doesn't win at the Oscars, something is terribly wrong.
(Also, I'm thrilled for the Netflix show Hilda, which won in all three categories it was nominated).

AMC theaters are doing a limited re-release of Black Panther with no admission fee for Black History Month.
I understand that there's going to be an attempt at a(nother) movie of Dune ... we'll see how that goes (if it goes).
TCG and I saw all the live action nominated short films tonight at a theater. They were really dark and a lot to take in all at once, but I'm glad I saw them.
I saw The Favourite, RBG, Solo, and Roma this weekend. I enjoyed them all. None of them wow'd me.

If I could have stayed in Newport longer, I could have seen the animated shorts and the short documentaries. They were all playing on different nights.
I think you can see all the short docs online, various platforms though.
I only found 2 of the animated shorts online and 1 of those I fell into by guessing a password.
