Aunt May was the BEST.
Right???
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Aunt May was the BEST.
Right???
Aunt May was kicking names and taking ass. Such a good movie.
For your amusement: I found a link to a page on IMDB ... some people are upset about historical innacuracies in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter ... um ....

Well, now it's ruined for me, too. Drat. I'm going to go watch Season 1 of Merlin to get over it.
IMDB ruins EVERYTHING.
I saw The Favorite this afternoon. That was weird. I think I liked it? Anyway, Olivia Coleman and the others gave some great performances.
I saw The Favourite this afternoon as well and quite enjoyed it. Good acting, entertaining dialog, great costumes and setting. I don't know that I'd want to ever meet any of the characters, but they were fun to watch from a distance. Now I need to find a good history of the time to see what was real and what was made up.
I feel like a shocking amount of it was real!
I suspect the intrigues of court life were very real. I need to find out more about Queen Anne's court and reign for more.
On the flipside, I just saw Spider-Man, and YAY.
