Joss Whedon was fired from the Batgirl movie, which is fantastic news: [link]
'Never Leave Me'
Buffista Movies Across the 8th Dimension!
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Your link now says, basically, "wait, nebbermind".
Aw, really? Dang.
The shouts of glee have to be demoralizing for Mr. Whedon, though.
Poor Barbara Gordon, looks like she'll still have to fight barefoot in Gotham City alleys and warehouses.
Poor Jim Gordon, who will be killed off at the end of the second act.
There's hope, he could turn out to be a thoughtless absentee dad instead!
That's true; I suppose he could kill off Dinah Lance instead.
So are we thinking it'll be Dick Grayson who falls face-first into Barbara's cleavage in a "funny" fight scene? It might be inappropriate for Batman since he's more a contemporary of her father. Of course, Joss does seem to think extreme age differences are sexy...
Went to see Justice League, mostly for Wonder Woman. Talk about a resounding meh. I didn't hate it as much as I did Man of Steel (didn't bother with B v S) but I dunno. It was mostly dull. Terrible villain, awkward mesh of boring action and attempts at humour, and there were a few shots of Diana that set my teeth at edge (I was like, PATTY JENKINS WOULD NEVER HAVE GONE FOR THOSE BUTT/BOOBS SHOTS). There was one funny joke involving Aquaman. I like Ezra Miller's Barry Allen but he mostly seemed to be in the wrong movie?
Amy Adams, you are too good an actress for this movie.
