Thank you!!! We're going with two friends, one of whom was there a couple of years ago and one who hasn't been out of the country since she went to Spain in high school back in the 80s! Super excited!!!
Took a minute while packing to finish opening my secret santa treasure trove! As I was suspecting, gifts were from smonster (postmarked Raleigh but everything had a New Orleans feel). Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
iceland is incredible. Spend lots of time in various hot water pools enjoying the thermal spring everywhere.

As a sidenote (reading about the best socks ever) I once found some that were perhaps a runner-up - socks with, knitted in, "Dear Santa ... I Can Explain". Bought them for several friends and my sister ... somehow neglected to get my own pair. sigh ....
