Sigh. This time last week I was lounging around Vegas deciding between a nap and a shady spot by the pool with a book.
I could be rich, I'd be responsible and distribute the wealth and be polite and not a bother. It doesn't have to be much, $20 million, I could be happy with that.
I've hit a wall of tired so I'm drinking coffee. I have maybe two meetings left, so I just have to hold it together for another hour and then we're off for food and pitchers of beer and sangria.
I have another 7:30am meeting tomorrow, but at least I can attend it from the hotel and "sleep in" until 6:30.
I was really hoping to leave work on time today. Not happening. Sigh.
I'm feeling like a toddler about to throw a tantrum. My flight was delayed so I have to fly to Atlanta and then Seattle and get home at the equivalent of 4am to my brain (after the doctor I wS working with flipped out at me for ten full minute monologue at 8am this morning) there are a total of TWO stalls in the one women's restroom...and several hundred people out here. It's fucking nonsense and I'm hungry and tired and still have hours to go and I just want to throw myself on the floor and wail.

I just sent an email to one of the partners that was supposed to reference the bigger set [of cases], only that isn't exactly what I typed.
Also, our spell check system doesn't catch things that I really wish it would.
That sounds awful, meara!
I guess that "unsend" option isn't available, Lee?
Leaving only 45 minutes late, that's not so bad I guess. And my plans this evening are not so time sensitive, although I am seriously tempted not to go home before dinner because it's not enough time to do anything.
Timelies all!
Quiet on the boards tonight...
Well, the nice thing is I decided to splurge and buy the wifi when I checked in, so I've got that at least. ...until my iPad runs out of battery? Fingers crossed maybe my next flight has a plug at the seat.
AAAAAUUUUUUUHHHHHHGGGGG. Got mad at the ivy out back when I took the recycling out, and yanked a ton out. Attacked by mosquitoes. Itchy itchy.
Jack and I went adventuring today. We went to check out a local doggie day care in preparation for a trip up to Cheyenne this weekend. He is still pretty shy, but she took him back to introduce him to some of the other dogs and see how he interacted and she said he did great.
Then we realized he didn't have one of his vaccinations, so off we went to the vet for a nasal spray thing.
Now K-Bug and I are ready to go to Cheyenne Frontier Days and see Miranda Lambert. Wooo-hooo!
