It was less "run into" and more "hey, I think I know that guy, yeah, I do know that guy" as I approached on foot.
I hit snooze and didn't have time to get coffee this morning. My brain is crying.

I came in this morning to my office and apparently I had gotten the carpet wet when I defrosted my fridge on Friday (I thought I had gotten it all with towels, which I took home and washed). My office smells like mildewed diapers. I now have a fan, and baking soda, although I have no idea how I will vacuum it up, because only the cleaners have access to vaccuums.
Guh, this morning is not working for me. My tummy was unhappy yesterday and it still isn't happy with me today. I want to sleep. SLEEP. But alas, I have too much work to even consider a mental health day. Then again, my computer is going so slow this morning, I'm getting micronaps while I await queries.
Jack and I were out and about all day Saturday, from the stables to a picnic and I think I used up every ounce of socializing I had stored up. Cave. Where is my cave?

Pretty sure they have coffee in Googletown.
As I understand it every desk has a gerbil feeder of espresso you can suck on as you work.

It was the lack of coffee for the commute from the City to Googletown. I've got a coffee staging area on my visitor desk now.
They don't have coffee IVs you can jack into on the bus? Well, I'm disillusioned.

Um, Suzi, taking a sick day because your stomach's upset is just a regular sick day. Physical ailment and all.
What -t said.
The higher-up I'm traveling with has the best rich person problems - he's made calls about issues with his boats and pool, and I think he just booked a private plane. Maybe he will be flying it? Good thing I like him, or he would be unbearable.
That's hilarious, Jesse. Check his shoes for diamonds.
True, ,-t and Jesse. I may take a mid-day nap and see how I feel after that. I just got my Monday status reports out to my project managers. As such, I have a bit of a lull.
I'm also thinking I need to get my iron levels checked again. I have been running on fumes for weeks and no amount of sleep helps. I need to find a hematologist near our new place. I'm sticking with my regular doc, even with the distance, cause I adore her. But there have been enough changes at my old hematologist's office and it is even further away so it is time for a change. Once I get the umph up to deal.
Yeah, a nearby hematologist sounds like a good idea.
