Our wings are not tired.

I have no plans yet for Halloween, nor candy purchased, nor decorations. This needs to get on the list.

Uneventful travels, ND.

Thankfully this is a nice direct flight. Should be back in LA by a bit after 9 AM. Then I just have a full day of work and meetings all over the city to get through.

Librarian Warlord

I am working on our budget request, and one of my people is arguing for a 20% raise for one of his returning students and telling me that is what the old director allowed. I am unmoved by this argument.

Punishingly Intricate

I have never gotten to fly first class which seems very unfair indeed!

Jesse, oh! Ha!

International first is sweet, business can be fantastic or mediocre depending on airline. Domestic first class on any of the legacy airlines, I find, is a farce. I wish Virgin and Jet Blue flew more places. As it is I'm usually stuck on United. Bleh.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I've never flown international first. International business, even when it's bad, is still better than economy. Go for the routes/planes that have lie-flat beds. Some airlines are putting out a very nice premium economy product internationally--Alitalia and Air France come to mind. Domestic first, as Nanita said, is a farce. I am upgraded fairly frequently, but there's not much to recommend it over economy. I'm pretty loyal to Delta these days. I was a Northwest flyer that had no real choice when they merged. I used to love Continental, but the merger with United killed any lingering good will. I'm tempted to try American, but I've heard some horror stories.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The fridge will be delivered between 11 and 1. I repeat, we have incoming fridge.

I flew international first class. It was non-stop food.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go for the routes/planes that have lie-flat beds.

That sounds amazing.

Hooray fridge!
