Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oy -- I went to CVS to get a flu shot, and it took fucking forever! And I wonder if it would have been faster to go to the Minute Clinic vs. the pharmacy -- I didn't realize they were totally separate until I had already been waiting a while. So I missed my CSA pickup by like 1 minute. I actually saw the truck driving away.

So I guess you win some, you lose some.

Shrift, I feel you. Bought my TG tickets last month and that's pretty much the most it has cost ever. And I still have to do Xmas, but those are always cheaper.

My arm is sore from the flu shot, but I was in& out in 5 minutes, so there's that. I'm also getting new insurance policy #s for the next 2 months because of the company split. And the HSA/FSA cards are frozen for 2 weeks while this happens. No way this can possibly go wrong.... Last year when they switched plans they "lost" my money for a couple months.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell, maybe something like these chocolate squares?

Good point, JZ. My daughter looked over the supplies I bought and gave it the OK but made it clear she thought I needed to get some Ghirardelli or other high end, non-slave labor chocolate for the house at the very least, if not the T-or-Ters.

Okay, this Justin Trudeau excitement has jumped the shark:

That is just wrong. Hilarious I'll give you, but wrong.

Oy, that's rough. Thanks for boning us, airlines! It shouldn't cost as much as a ticket to London to fly the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

I ended up with a goofy schedule and I'm flying into one airport and out of another just to get the ticket price down.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Lets go Mets.

Because books.

The worst thing about the cost of airfare is that the despite the money the experience is always somewhere between uncomfortable and unpleasant to downright awful. I don't think I've ever enjoyed an airplane ride in my life.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yeah, the only enjoyable flight I've had was way back in the 90s when my SiL was a flight attendant and I used one of her companion tickets to fly to California and was upgraded to first class, which was really dang swanky. And boozy.

Yeah, I'm doing Fri-fri even though I'd like that extra weekend because otherwise it was ridic. And this between big SW hubs (here& LA, through Vegas. Always Vegas.)

B'ham AL is a short hop on one of their major routes, so that's never too bad, even at its worst.

Guys, I'd like all my city govt to be swallowed by a black hole. And take the SC school cops with it. Everything is just so wrong and they're parading around naked exclaiming how they love their gowns and jewels. Props to the amazing people screaming down the heaven about the lies, but the ostriching is...dumbfounding. So fucked up.

I had a great first class flight between Cleveland and Baltimore. In the 90s.
