The worst thing about the cost of airfare is that the despite the money the experience is always somewhere between uncomfortable and unpleasant to downright awful. I don't think I've ever enjoyed an airplane ride in my life.

Yeah, the only enjoyable flight I've had was way back in the 90s when my SiL was a flight attendant and I used one of her companion tickets to fly to California and was upgraded to first class, which was really dang swanky. And boozy.
Yeah, I'm doing Fri-fri even though I'd like that extra weekend because otherwise it was ridic. And this between big SW hubs (here& LA, through Vegas. Always Vegas.)
B'ham AL is a short hop on one of their major routes, so that's never too bad, even at its worst.
Guys, I'd like all my city govt to be swallowed by a black hole. And take the SC school cops with it. Everything is just so wrong and they're parading around naked exclaiming how they love their gowns and jewels. Props to the amazing people screaming down the heaven about the lies, but the ostriching is...dumbfounding. So fucked up.
I had a great first class flight between Cleveland and Baltimore. In the 90s.
Ah ha, so based on a sample size of 3, it looks like I need to take a first class flight at some point.
Qatar economy class was probably the swankest(even compared to the one time I was bumped to first domestic.) SA air(?) to Joburg had the best food. Drukair to Bhutan was the most acrobatic and the prettiest uniforms (traditional styled Bhutanese dress. Good no spillage tasty local snacks too.) Qantas disappointed me, they were kinda jerky, even if my flight companion on the leg out made up for it. Plus good Aussie wine. Lots of it.
Delta to Spain just sucked. Never flying domestic overseas again if I can avoid it.
I'm starting to research flights to India. I think I'll be able to fly Business Class!
I fly first class all the time. It's not that much better than an exit row, generally. Unless you're talking international (and not Canada or Mexico). Then yes, business class or first class is a whole thing.
I generally like flying! I still think it's fun.
Yeah, I like flying mostly. I think I do it frequently enough to be used to the routine and not enough that it doesn't lose it's novelty.
I am so over cancelled flights, though.
