Yup, that's weird, Kat. Maybe it wasn't her
I have so much stuff I should be doing but I am so tired. I need a day to recover from my eweekend. And ten another day to get stuff done. Yes, that might work.
Until that gets arranged, I suppose I'd better figure out what absolutely must get done today or tomorrow will be disastrous, because making myself do anything at all is going to be haaaaard.
But first I'm going to finish watching my recorded football game. I know the final score but I believe there are plays in there I need to see for myself. Also, very curious as to whether my Fox channel cut over to the Miami-Washington game at some point the way my parents' Fox apparently did - tried to see what was happening in the game when I stopped by about noon, the guide and "info" said it was the Saints game but it was not.
My mother had two friends over for dinner, which was fine, but threw off my whole evening! Ah well.
-t, the national Fox feed switched away from the game early in the third quarter, I think.
Thanks, Dana. Hopefully Sunday Ticket channel didn't! I set both channels to record, I had a feeling it was a belt and suspenders situation.
Six hours to go on the Kickstarter. [link]
I am going crazy (okay, crazier) refreshing the page and staring at the total.
How long does it take your ears to recover after the pressure changes of a flight? I feel like it takes me a really long time. It's a good thing I'm not a sound designer.
ISTR it varied a lot, sometimes days, sometimes hours, but I don't have a lot of recent data to reference.
Thanks Rick! My friend thinks it is a ringing endorsement of capitalism, and I just don't think it is the case.
It's been a while since I read it, but I seem to recall that it kind of took it as a given that capitalism has a ton of problems, and then the point was that communism isn't the solution to those problems -- that pretty much any system will end up with certain of the same problems, because those things happen any time anyone gets power.
