Oysters chopped up, breaded, and baked with mushrooms and cheese or herb seasoning are great. I wouldn't eat raw oysters unless I were literally starving.

Oysters Rockefeller are delicious, but I've had less luck with raw oysters for some reason. Although when I had them crazy fresh, just harvested off the Pacific coast in the San Juan Islands? Delicious.

we are under flash flood alerts. I am not in low ground so not worried.
Raining for 2 days though, so yeah some areas are bad. Over where my parents live has a lot of low-road areas and a friend's husband hydroplaned off the road just after midnight.
