Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

We put storage up where we used to have a big poster, so we now only have one place for a picture in the room.

If I ever came over, I'd probably spend too much time in the bathroom reading all the dictionary definitions!

It's a service you can continue providing us, Nora, living in a fun to visit destination!

Totally! And if I decide I want to relocate to Dublin in a couple of years, there'd be Buffistas there.

Okay. I have 5 bags and 1 box of books that I've culled. I probably should cull more. In fact, there are at least 4 books I took out of the "get rid of pile" that I will put back in, because I'm not going to read them. This means I get to flop and watch a movie for a couple of hours before packing my suitcase.

I may have to seize the cat.

In my bullet journal, I made a list of 3 most important things to do today: launder my improv outfit, plan and shop for groceries, and make dinner. One of these three got done (the laundry).

But I did an improv show that is called "Family Improv." The whole audience consisted of my sister, my brother, and my mother-in-law, so just for today, we renamed the show, "Kiba's Family Improv."

Bullet journalers, Google & I suspect instagram are full of ideas for making it an even better system. I myself wanted to buy a Get to Work book but they sold out before I could, so I watched the video and am implementing a lot of her structure into my current bullet journal. We'll see how it goes. I'm a bit of a productivity/organization geek/wonk, and consequently am one of those people who loses a lot of productivity because she's always trying to optimize her productivity.

Nora, exciting! Moving research is so much fun.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to the Annapolis Irish Festival today. It was fun, though I forgot a hat and my scalp is a bit pink. Managed to find shady spots at each of the stages.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The neighborhood list group is comparing sightings of a naked man on a major road. One saw him running and yelling and another said, "he was walking on the sidewalk holding his shoes in front of his - well you know -- just walking.....paramedics and swat cars pulled up and got him."

Hahahaha, yeah, that's so me.

I got my meal plan for next week written out and the relevant recipes put into Mealboard in hopes that I can track my pantry inventory. No actual cooking, of course. Still, I am exhausted. And will probably lose a bunch of time exploring your link, Kiba. But I'm enjoying myself and once this groundwork is laid next time should be easier. I hope.

Great picture, Scrappy!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The only other bullet journal thing that I have done is to create a tag list on the last page for topics of notes. Then I put a large block on the line for notes, near the edge, that matches the tag on the back page. It creates an index of sorts to find entries that all have to do with, say, the data project I'm working on, or text sets.

Like this which has pictures and is clearer than I'm making it: [link]

I may have to seize the cat.

I like the index hack, but I've only used it minimally.

Can that work with ballpoint pens?

I saw that edge marking idea somewhere else (oh not somewhere else, the very place Kat linked but a few days ago, I guess) and thought it was brilliant.

I am kind of stupidly excited to have one place to put all my ideas and tasks for work and home and whatever and still have a way to find it all when I need it. I hope it works for me.
