I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

consequently am one of those people who loses a lot of productivity because she's always trying to optimize her productivity

Hahahaha, yeah, that's so me.

I got my meal plan for next week written out and the relevant recipes put into Mealboard in hopes that I can track my pantry inventory. No actual cooking, of course. Still, I am exhausted. And will probably lose a bunch of time exploring your link, Kiba. But I'm enjoying myself and once this groundwork is laid next time should be easier. I hope.

Great picture, Scrappy!

The only other bullet journal thing that I have done is to create a tag list on the last page for topics of notes. Then I put a large block on the line for notes, near the edge, that matches the tag on the back page. It creates an index of sorts to find entries that all have to do with, say, the data project I'm working on, or text sets.

Like this which has pictures and is clearer than I'm making it: [link]

I may have to seize the cat.

I like the index hack, but I've only used it minimally.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Can that work with ballpoint pens?

I saw that edge marking idea somewhere else (oh not somewhere else, the very place Kat linked but a few days ago, I guess) and thought it was brilliant.

I am kind of stupidly excited to have one place to put all my ideas and tasks for work and home and whatever and still have a way to find it all when I need it. I hope it works for me.

I realize I'm leaving the house at 11:30 tomorrow and getting home Monday night. Father->cousin grad party->airport->Minneapolis->meetings->home.

I just tried doing the tag thing with a ballpoint pen and it takes some attention to get the edge inked, but it works.

Jesse, I use ballpoint, I just flip through the notebook and look to see what is where. It's more useful than my other ideas for finding and tagging info. The bullet journal stuff is useful enough for getting me to stop perseverating.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The bullet journal stuff may be exactly what I've been looking for. As soon as my next goodie box from Evil Supply Co. shows up, I'll try it out with the notebook.

Huh, that bullet journal thing looks like it would be useful for work.
