I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

My calls went okay. I had to tell one guy in person, because he's been temping for us, and I had to tell him that he didn't get the permanent job. He cried. So tha

Oh that sucks. Poor guy.

I am on my way back to Seattle, but I have to change planes and won't be home until almost 2am. Boo. I really could be accomplished more today but I knew I could t get it ALL done, so went for less.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Pat Sajak is not a standard for non-old language, ijs.

Will now scrub kiddo from my vocabulary.

Yay, brother of msbelle. May your recovery be swift and smooth.

Am now ensconced in my hotel and will be working to replace all my customization so that I'm not hamstrung tomorrow. I was so slap happy by the end of my meetings today. Told my project manager I'd hit laugh or cry status, then I left and got a pedicure even though I got one just a couple of weeks ago.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just agreed to co-chair an alumni committee for my grad school. Will I regret it? Maybe. Will it be good for my career? If I do it right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, what speed are you getting through AT&T?

Slow--about 45-48 mbps. This is the burbs though, so I wouldn't get the 150 even with the demoncompany.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I would raise an eyebrow at anyone who called me kiddo. It seems like something Batman would say to Robin. My level of offense would depend on who they were and whether they were trying to be condescending.

I have no more can. Work needs to back off. But it won't. I have to find some more can. Maybe it's in this giant mug of tea.

I'm watching something called Suddenly Royal. Some American dude found out he was King of the Isle of Man and they're filming him trying to figure out how to royal. Is this for real.

The Isle of Man is firmly part of the British Commonwealth. He may be the descendent of some old clan chief, but the Queen is still on the stamps (they do have their own).

See, that's what I thought. This is dumb.

Though they were occupied by the Germans for a few years during the Reich. But that's not very royal.

edit: The Isle of Man was occupied by the Germans, not those boots. Though it could work.
