Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

surgery ~ma for msbelle's brother, and continuing health ~ma for DH of Sox!

I got a million-dollar umbrella policy after my sister got sued by a guy who ran his motorcycle into her car and getting himself and his girlfriend hurt. It was surprisingly affordable to add it to my insurance.

Yeah, Zen, that's the kind of thing I wonder if maybe I need. But maybe I don't?!? I also wonder if my car insurance should be changed--like, there are lots of Teslas being driven around Seattle...

So yeah, Sparky I'd love any recommendations! Also, if anyone has a few-only financial advisor I feel like I should see one of those too.

Best of luck to your brother msbelle!

I am paused in my drive to Fresno, to get some dinner. Whee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

::waves at meara:: Because on your way to Fresno probably puts you in the Greater -t Area

I have an umbrella policy, and it's pretty cheap, especially compared to homeowners and flood. And I just blew off the financial planning meeting I had scheduled (well, I called to cancel, I didn't just not show up, but still) so I will definitely not be making recommendations about any of that.

Fun, Burrell!

I just bought myself a bunch of tea (it came up on my to do list) and one of them is the Evil Bunny Alliance. Last time I tried to buy it, it was sold out, so I was already really looking forward to trying it but now I have sampled the bouquet and wow that smells delicious! I am so excited to try some tomorrow! Adagio fandom blends is good times.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Just had a visit by a young raccoon on my deck. I wouldn't have minded except that he started to amuse himself by playing with the pot containing my volunteer maple seedling, turning it on its side and rolling it around. He wasn't deterred by shouts, claps, or slaps with a ruler on the railing, just stared at me bemusedly. It took a couple spritzes of window cleaner to finally persuaded him to saunter off. I don't think the maple took any harm; I don't see any signs of it having been gnawed on.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Surgery~ma for G, msbelle.

I may have info to add towards the insurance discussion tomorrow. Too out of it after marinating in a hot shower tonight.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Rocket came to visit Groot?

Cute

Watching Still Alice but I may not make it through the whole thing. Too close to parts of my life.

By few only I meant fee only, of course.

Made it to Fresno. Can't wait to be home. Don't wanna do the many many work things that need doing, once I'm home. But even calling in sick wouldn't help because it would just make me more anxious about the work I haven't done/that's overdue. I was out with my boss last week, and she let me know that some of the stuff she's been helping on for my one project, everyone else is even more behind than I am, and she knows I'll get to everything as soon as I can, but ugh. Doesn't make me feel better.
