You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

By few only I meant fee only, of course.

Made it to Fresno. Can't wait to be home. Don't wanna do the many many work things that need doing, once I'm home. But even calling in sick wouldn't help because it would just make me more anxious about the work I haven't done/that's overdue. I was out with my boss last week, and she let me know that some of the stuff she's been helping on for my one project, everyone else is even more behind than I am, and she knows I'll get to everything as soon as I can, but ugh. Doesn't make me feel better.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Health~ma to Sox's DH and msbelle's brother!

I have been rereading Dorothy Sayers, and I dreamed that Lord Peter Wimsey said he only knew of two perfect murders, one of which involved butter, liquid nitrogen and Tibetan monks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just had a visit by a young raccoon on my deck.

The first time I read this I was like, "!!! ?!?!?! ????" and then I realized it says DECK, not DESK. Totally thought there was a raccoon in the office.

Rocket came to visit Groot?

Awwww!~

Watching Still Alice but I may not make it through the whole thing. Too close to parts of my life.

Yeah, no. I could barely make it through the trailer.

I have been rereading Dorothy Sayers, and I dreamed that Lord Peter Wimsey said he only knew of two perfect murders, one of which involved butter, liquid nitrogen and Tibetan monks.

That sounds about right!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Plausible, Ginger. sounds like molecular gastronomy might be involved.

Get-through-it~ma, meara. Glad to hear your boss understands, though I get that it doesn't make you feel all better.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am Jesse wrt misreading DECK for DESK.

As of midnight surgery was off. As of 8 am it is back on. Clearly not all about me, but I am holding down a panic attack (current location is way down on my thighs, thank you deep breathing & distractions)(last night it made its way all the way to my chest before I beat it back and ran away to sleep land) and would really rather not cry and/or start screaming at work, so calm thoughts.
