So scary, Sox! I do understand that men fainting especially when they get up to pee in the night is not uncommon, and usually not caused by anything specific. Best of luck to you guys!

She's already seeing results, Burrell? Wow!
Poor, Frannie. I remember the pain and headaches from braces, and taking lots of tylenol to hope it would go away.
That's pretty much it, sj. And yes, results come surprisingly fast. I guess that's why they do braces younger now?

Really? How weird. Common for women also or just men? (And how does this relate to our recent discussion of staying half asleep while peeing at night??)
I just saw some research linked on FB that when we "space out", parts of our brains are actually asleep. So maybe it's literally possible to be not-awake while peeing at night, and maybe we're sort-of like dolphins, who sleep with only half their brains at a time. Also, I am asleep right now.
No answers yet - thank you for the ~ma, I'm going to hang on to it. They did bloodwork and are scheduling a CT. T feels up to going to my last reading with me tomorrow night, but he's stressed and we're both hoping this can be fixed easily.
Jet lag has shown up and I kind of feel like I'm a danger to myself and others.
I didn't have anything urgent on my plate so I have been trying to fill in the "training tracker" thing we've had since...early August but I hadn't had time to look at. So I've been tracking down old emails and looking at my calendar for days of yore and now I feel all disconnected from present reality. Possibly half my brain is asleep. Or more than half.

Earlier, I turned around to throw away a tea bag and ran teacup-first into a support beam. Literally a hot mess.
It was a paper cup, at least?
I think I'll get away from my desk for a while and go get a flu shot.
