rstand that men fainting especially when they get up to pee in the night is not uncommon
Really? How weird. Common for women also or just men? (And how does this relate to our recent discussion of staying half asleep while peeing at night??)

I just saw some research linked on FB that when we "space out", parts of our brains are actually asleep. So maybe it's literally possible to be not-awake while peeing at night, and maybe we're sort-of like dolphins, who sleep with only half their brains at a time. Also, I am asleep right now.
No answers yet - thank you for the ~ma, I'm going to hang on to it. They did bloodwork and are scheduling a CT. T feels up to going to my last reading with me tomorrow night, but he's stressed and we're both hoping this can be fixed easily.
Jet lag has shown up and I kind of feel like I'm a danger to myself and others.
I didn't have anything urgent on my plate so I have been trying to fill in the "training tracker" thing we've had since...early August but I hadn't had time to look at. So I've been tracking down old emails and looking at my calendar for days of yore and now I feel all disconnected from present reality. Possibly half my brain is asleep. Or more than half.

Earlier, I turned around to throw away a tea bag and ran teacup-first into a support beam. Literally a hot mess.
It was a paper cup, at least?
I think I'll get away from my desk for a while and go get a flu shot.
Never got hold of a living human being, but found the form online, converted the entire damn thing to writable, completed one MD's application, starting on the other, requesting certificates of insurance and rush-order medical group application fees for both, trying not to think about all the other stuff piling up undone because these asschunks can't be arsed to do their jobs (and for this we're paying them $350 per application; how do I get their jobs instead of mine?).
Literally a hot mess.
That's kind of an achievement, right there.
2 days of clusterfucks at work. I do not like being the fix all the problems after the fact person.
Ion, my brother is in the ER on a morphine drip due to abdominal pain due to unknown sources, so that also sucks.
Yikes, msbelle. Lots of ~ma for your brother, and for Sox's DH too.
Have any Buffistas ever employed a nanny (or any other kind of household employee)? If so, please speak to me of taxes, because I'm kind of in a bind and not sure what to do. (Profile address is good if you'd rather take it to email.)
