And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Thanks, Buffistas who know G and T, and those who don't. The news is good! It looks like he may get discharged today, and his breathing is much improved from yesterday. We're just waiting on the results of some tests, and they want to do one more, but things are def. looking up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That's wonderful to hear, amyth.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that's great to read!

And my customer didn't call in. And I don't have my notebook, either. I should have stayed in bed this morning.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, amyth! What a scary situation.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Great news, amyth! Give my best to both of them.

-t, that's baloney. I also agree you should have stayed in bed this morning. I'm feeling the same way myself. Also, I neglected to post, but I most certainly thought it, and I'm glad that your co-worker's son is OK. What a scary call to get....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good news about your friend, amyth!

Someone just used an emoji in a professional email. I'm out.

Yay for Gabe!

I forgot that I had agreed to help my next-cube neighbor streamline one of her reports today. Now I can't properly foster my resentment at fruitlessly coming in to work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should have stayed in bed this morning.

I hear that! I realized as I left the house that I was getting a migraine. Luckily it's not terrible, but STILL.

In continuing news about how my job is ridiculous, they are getting rid of corporate credit cards. WTF? We already just had one per department, but now everything has to go on a personal card for reimbursement.

And cube-neighbor just canceled. Resentment back in full flower. Yay?

Weird, Jesse. How can that possibly be better? And sorry about the migraine.

On the plus side, just killed a mosquito, which is always satisfying.
