That sounds wonderful, Dana! Now I want to chill with the manatees.

They're all blorpy! The dolphins are race-car sleek, and then the manatee are soft and pouchy.
Oh, and I forgot: I got kissed by a sea lion. It was fishy, yet adorable.
Wow, Dana! That all sounds amazing.
Wow. That is some vacation.
Ok, time to stop watching football (easy) and do something productive (hard).
House is clean, including my bedroom (always the last to get attention). Pedicure achieved. Redbox movies returned and grocery basics purchased.
Now I'm watching Supernatural. Finally.
Oh my goodness, I just slept for more than an hour! I never nap. Now I really don't feel like going to the store, but I can definitely get started on roasting squash and stuff tonight.
I'm a little tempted to take a nap, on the theory that it would reset the day and I would awaken all refreshed and rarin' to go. I don't think it would really work like that, though. I never wake up rarin' to go. And I'm not even sleepy, just kind of drained. I just need to pick one of the many things that need doing and do it.
Unrelatedly, I find the "you are watching NFL Sunday Ticket" guy strangely validating. "Yes, I am," I answer, and feel like I'm doing something right.
Ok, emptying the dishwasher, how hard can that be?
I dusted! This should probably be a less rare accomplishment for me, and yet.
Now I'm watching last week's Sleepy Hollow while eating broiled salmon and veggie rice pilaf. I'm still working out the recipe for the latter. But the salmon was awesome. I've come to terms with the fact that I like well done salmon, even though it's apparently not culinarily cool. I had seconds.
