Thanks, Jesse!
I did the thing!!
I thought I did the last thing, but people keep emailing me more things. If I do them now, much less headache. NSM later, but I have been reactive rather than proactive. So I have provisionally been fucking off.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Thanks, Jesse!

Poor Pumpkin. I think she and Eddie are probably kindred spirits.
In other news, I get to go to the Cards vs. Cubs game tonight! Woohoo!
She's back in the cone. The inflatable is being returned tomorrow. To smart and bendy for her own good.
Lisah, does the place you've been helping out at carry that sort of thing? What's it called?
Swim was shortened tonight by storms. Was slower, but I'm not surprised because while I napped, it wasn't really enough.
Penny could just about reach her stitches, but not quite. We used the soft collar under supervision until we were convinced that it would stop her.
Zoe was in a combination t-shirt and soft cone. She has pretty much destroyed the soft collar now, but still putting her in t-shirts. Of course she is a different size so my t-shirts are an option.
She couldn't reach the hotspot, but started on the nearest place she could reach to it. Which is not irritated, but I've certainly scratched around a mosquito bite myself.
Cone makes her subdued, which is kinda sad. But she also deliberately crashes it into stuff. Half to attempt to dislodge it, half out of pissiness, I think. She plowed a trash can around the living room. Only reason for that had to be crankiness.
Timelies all!
I have had one pumpkin spice item. The coffee shop in my building has a pumpkin spice chai latte, which was kinda meh. Didn't taste much different than the vanilla chai, and it was more expensive, so I won't do that again.
I'd be cranky too. Poor Murray the Gray Cat was so helplessly depressed when he had to wear a cone. He never tried to get it off, which surprised me, but he had no ability to adapt and function with it, at all. He finally threw himself down in exhausted misery on my bed and refused to move, and I felt so bad for him. I took it off after two days, cautiously, but he never tried to paw at the surgery site. He just went happily on with his kitty life as if nothing had happened to him. Which was a relief, but I think he's not the smartest cat in the house. No, I know he isn't.
Sometimes it's better to not be the smartest cat in the house.
I have all the Toscano cheeses! I did not buy all the pumpkin-spice things on offer, but enough. Forgot to grind my coffee, which is the one thing I actually needed to buy. I've got my wee hand crank grinder, but doing 12 oz in that takes some doing. I will have to think about how to proceed.
All these disparate pumpkin references are cracking me up. There was a giant floofy orange and white diabetic Pumpkin being picked up from the vet's last night by his elderly owners. We had a nice chat about our Pumpkins and diabetic cats (he was just in for routine monitoring.)
Which was way more cheerful than the couple who brought in their dog Mozart, who'd been hit by a car. I saw the X-ray while waiting, back leg snapped at the hip. Major surgery for that poor pup. I hate going to the animal er.
