Sometimes it's better to not be the smartest cat in the house.
I have all the Toscano cheeses! I did not buy all the pumpkin-spice things on offer, but enough. Forgot to grind my coffee, which is the one thing I actually needed to buy. I've got my wee hand crank grinder, but doing 12 oz in that takes some doing. I will have to think about how to proceed.
All these disparate pumpkin references are cracking me up. There was a giant floofy orange and white diabetic Pumpkin being picked up from the vet's last night by his elderly owners. We had a nice chat about our Pumpkins and diabetic cats (he was just in for routine monitoring.)
Which was way more cheerful than the couple who brought in their dog Mozart, who'd been hit by a car. I saw the X-ray while waiting, back leg snapped at the hip. Major surgery for that poor pup. I hate going to the animal er.
Those are some delicious cheeses. Nom nom nom.
And I
really
like the honey-roasted pumpkin ravioli. Just the right amount of sweetness.
Mmm that sounds delicious.
I am so friggin' done for the day, I can't even. Unfortunately, no one else seems inclined to pick up the slack for me, so I think I need to force myself to deal with other people's shit for another couple hours before I quit.
Right now the girls (Frances has a friend over) are getting themselves dessert, so that's good.
I bet they would be good fried. Because I can't leave well enough alone.
Be easy on Burrell, girls. And everyone else.
Lisah, does the place you've been helping out at carry that sort of thing? What's it called?
Mutt Mart! I don't think she does but it's worth checking out. She gets new stuff all the time. Also, it's pretty close to you!
I know sarameg! I was like - don't eat Pumpkin!!!
In scrolling back to check the capitalization on my pumpkin/Pumpkin references (I am satisfied, I think, that they are correct, bu I didn't go back very far) I am reminded that the one thing I intended to do today at work did not get done because unexpected urgent things cropped up. So it goes. Hopefully now out of my head until Monday.
Almost halfway through one side of my tea cozy! I can probably actually use more of these than wool hats, given the temperate climate I live in, so it'd be nice if this pattern really is as easy as it seems.
Oooh, TJ's honey pumpkin ravioli! I need to go stock up.
I just had one of my favorite seasonal pumpkin treats: a WF's pumpkin chocolate chip cookie.
