My massive bid was submitted just a little while ago. I should be doing expense reports, but I'm saying fuck it, and fucking off the rest of the day. I've been going non-stop for two weeks now, and they can deal with an afternoon off for my mental health. And just maybe, this cold will bugger off too.

I've reached the point with a vendor/salesperson in which I want to respond, NO MEANS NO!. And I never go all caps.
Apparently the epicenter for pumpkins that become canned pumpkin is Peoria(?) which is where the weather has caused problems for pumpkin farmers. If you need canned pumpkin, get it early.

I always have more canned pumpkin on my shelf than I really need. I randomly panic and think I don't have any and buy several cans and find I already had several when I go to put them away. In my defense, I also randomly go on pumpkin cheesecake/pie/whatever baking binges and use up a bunch at once, but I think even taking that into account I am well positioned to withstand a canned pumpkin shortage.
ETA I am not really watching the pig for the rest of the day, I am working. And probably not finishing everything I wanted to get done today, because I keep getting handed more, sigh.
