Tried to give her a rest from the cone; she went to lick the spot within a minute. Might go get a soft collar. She can still drink from the toilet. I know because I caught her as she splashed water all over the floor.
I will say the soft collars rock. Less intrusive for critter and family.

Went out & got my emissions inspection & bought a soft collar. Hopefully she can't get it off ( she can get more traction than with the cone.) at least her ears aren't smushed anymore.
