As I understand it, you feed things like snails and clams cornmeal so that they expel the grit and assorted disgusting things they've been eating and fill up on nice, clean edible cornmeal. The imported snails are a scourge, but an excellent way to eat butter and garlic.

I am so frustrated with one of our sibling departments right now. They have access to all the same information I do, I have redundantly sent them the relevant information at least twice over the last week and outright asked them to double check the accuracy of a particular document and they still sent it out wrong. Twice. And after the customer stated deadline (which she said in Eastern time because she is in Eastern time, but THAT WAS CLEAR). Argh. Do not blame this one on the customer being difficult, boss of both of us.
ION, my chicken and egg salad from several days ago is delicious today. Yum.
The list of stuff that I need to get done is epic, and I keep working through it and then more things get added. It's all part of owning a business that is currently being successful, but wow am I tired and having issues keeping on this treadmill.
Okay, I really need to finish this spreadsheet tallying the total value of the business equipment assets so that I can get it over to the bank.

People, pear season is upon us! It is one of my favorite things about fall. I am really really trying to consciously eat better, less refined sugar, way less meat, lots more fruits and vegetables. Has anyone tried the Greens and Beans and Grains thing at TJs? I find it tasty.
