Ok. I need ALL the motivation today. I'm so behind at work (some on stuff that only hurts ME, like my expense reports) because I've barely been home, and so busy that when I get home I just want to slack. But tomorrow my parents are in town and next week I'm traveling with my boss and then on vacation, so today needs to be CRAZY PRODUCTIVE. Help?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go meara, you can do it!*\\o/*

If I had spare motivation I would give you some, but I am, as usual, running at a deficit myself.

Huh, Starbucks app did not give me the option to tip my barista today. Weird. She was very helpful, too!

Scanning the legal blogs:

Batman, the world’s greatest vigilante, DOESN’T USE GUNS. He uses unimaginable wealth and science to protect Gotham. He’s like love child of Neil deGrasse Tyson and Ronda Rousey raised by Mike Bloomberg.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Calli, that's horrifying. That poor woman.

Sometimes I think, maybe I could try dating again, and then I am reminded the real risk of dating men isn't getting my heart broken, it's getting murdered, and I decide, nope, staying safely alone.

I'm so behind at work (some on stuff that only hurts ME, like my expense reports)

meara, it isn't just you, I have two expense reports to do and I can't even understand why I'm avoiding it so hard - it's money! Money is not stronger than generalized anxiety disorder.

I really need something that eases anxiety without making me sleepy. Prescription or not. The med I've been taking for a year kinda isn't working anymore and the side effects are growing intolerable. The anxiety is starting to interfere with my ability to get my job done, and that cannot happen.

Money is not stronger than generalized anxiety disorder.

That is a true statement that economics, for example, does not take into account.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I could just send it on to Jilli's when I'm done plundering it. (If she's okay with that, of course.)

My record on getting things in the mail is not stellar. Plei, would you come hold me accountable?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's dreadful, Calli.

As I understand it, you feed things like snails and clams cornmeal so that they expel the grit and assorted disgusting things they've been eating and fill up on nice, clean edible cornmeal. The imported snails are a scourge, but an excellent way to eat butter and garlic.
