In New York, we can also get an enhanced drivers license that will allow entry in to Canada and will allow us to fly domestic. If I could locate my birth certificate, I should get one! In Rochester one goes to Canada all the time, but I just stopped after the new requirements.

My passport expires in July, 2017, so I just added a calendar reminder for January 2017 to renew it.

Hah. So many of the dudes I went to college with are no longer hot. They got old, fast. Somehow the ladies didn't.

I just turned down the warm doubletree cooking when I checked in, because I've been trying to avoid sweets a tiny bit (...ok and I had a peanut butter Rice Krispie treat in the airport). And then I get to my room and there's a plate with some other sort of cookie bar thing and the bottles of water I'm supposed to get as a diamond member. Agh! I have so little willpower. And yet had this fantasy to buying new jeans before the yearly dance convention in a few weeks and looking super hot.

I'm hearing everything from, "Eh, it will probably be a little windy with some heavy rain," to "Batten down the hatches, have an evacuation plan ready, and be prepared for multiple days without power." And I've lost my Tivo remote. Happily, I found the Roku remote, so I was able to watch the Brooklyn 9-9 premiere.
