Really? My job coach friend thinks I should (even if it is basically a short version of what I'd be saying in a cover letter) and Ask A Manager seems to agree. Evidently it helps the hiring manager focus. I'm torn about it.
A resume sent out is better than waiting until you have the perfect summary, is my opinion. (I do have a summary, but a job coach told me to do it, and I think I'm going to cut it next time. It is kind of inspirational, tho!)

So, someone I know just posted on Facebook that her (Long-Island-raised) son got dinged on a school assignment (in Arkansas) for saying "meant" and "mint" are not homophones. Regional accents strike again!
There's an elementary-school-aged EpicTangent in my head raging on that kid's behalf. Tell me his mom protested?

I started threatening to set all the things on fire today. Though everything was kind of already on fire. It's only Tuesday. There are 3 summaries I need to send out before 9 because apparently I'm the only one who grasps the whole picture. I think my brain's on fire too.
Once again today my coworkers made suicide jokes again. And once again I wanted to heckle them with "really? Too soon, yeah?". I suppose it's like saying "I'm starving" when you're just hungry and not about to die from lack of food. And my heckling is starting to not to be so not-serious in intent.
Julie, I'm sorry, they should be more aware of what they're saying. Even unintended it's still painful.
Day 2 of conference ended with eating delicious Russian food, getting soaked in a downpour, and falling into bed exhausted at 8:30. Still gotta do some work before I sleep.
