That sucks, Maria.
That strategy never works for me either, Dana, and yet I keep trying.
I somehow unplugged my keyboard from the computer. That was surprisingly hard to figure out from the symptoms (no idea how I did it, it was clearly plugged in when I logged in and I was not crawling under my desk unplugging things at any point the way I had to to plug it back in).
I don't think I am on board with today and would like to go back to bed.
No moon for us either, Dana. I was bummed.
Also, if you could make that strategy work, you'd be rich.
I don't think I am on board with today and would like to go back to bed.
Co-sign. Can I just have more weekend instead?
Didn't we elect Zenkitty Dictator for Life? Surely she has that power.
Ugh, birthday weekend hangover. I hope Matilda outgrows birthday parties before they kill us.
She had the last piece of fancypants birthday cake for breakfast.
And we'll be eating leftover pizza all week, I expect.
I was very pleasantly surprised to be able to see the eclipse from our back porch. We never get to see anything in the sky in SF, so that was a low expectations exceeded type moment.
Now I must wash socks.
I have a meeting with the big big boss and my union rep in less than an hour because they are monkeying with my flextime arrangement for no good reason (that I can see.) I am fighting it on the principle of the thing more than anything...if I lose it's not a great hardship. But it's another sign of my workplace being less than hospitable to workers. Wish me luck.
Crush them, Sue! Make them rue the day!
Good luck, Sue. Hold their feet to the fire.
Thanks guys.
I am letting my union rep do all the talking.
Stick it to the Man, Sue! Go union rep!
You know, I just never really got a handle on September. Maybe I should start focusing on October now.
