I have a meeting with the big big boss and my union rep in less than an hour because they are monkeying with my flextime arrangement for no good reason (that I can see.) I am fighting it on the principle of the thing more than anything...if I lose it's not a great hardship. But it's another sign of my workplace being less than hospitable to workers. Wish me luck.

This day continues to suck beyond the telling. I still have my home number from MD--it's a Vonage line so it rings directly on my cell phone. It just rang and the caller ID said "Rob Payne-Home." I'm crying now, and I can't afford to because there is SO MUCH WORK that needs to be done. I haven't been able to erase him out of my contacts, and this is what happens. For half a second, I thought he wasn't gone.
