See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who are all of you people that don't have to work today?

I am at work but currently have no work to do. Which is good, because I can't brain right now.

Sizzler does a mashed sweet potato that they serve with cinnamon honey butter. Oh. My. God. It's like eating dessert first.

And pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are worth knocking over little children for. (I am, unfortunately, nearly always in the mood to knock most little children over. Cookies just give me a reward.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I took one of my "floating holidays" today. Such a good call.

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmmm, pumpkin. That's all. I have to work.

hip deep in pie

I am at work, but wondering why the hell I am here, besides my two meetings this AM. Also wondering how early I can sneak away.

Yes, Maria is right! Go Teppy, they like you!

I don't know why, but I have to emphasize that most stuff is pumpkin SPICE flavor, not pumpkin flavor.

True. And I was also there with the "omg PSL has no pumpkin!" Duh. It's spice. But I like both of those things (though I don't drink the pumpkin spice lattes, is rather have the Oprah Chai, which is delicious and cinnamon-y)

I just logged in to one of our (many) work databases and discovered I suddenly have access to a new project. Is someone getting ahead of themselves in giving me access before I'm told I have a new project? Or is this a glitch?? Could go either way. (It's apparently a psoriasis thing? Which I'd not be stoked to work on, but whatev)

We have no school today for Rosh Hashanah! But Grace does have school.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am at work today, but I wish I weren't.

I had fittings at the theatre all weekend, and I also went on a wild goose chase out in the wilds of western NY looking for a package that was delivered to the secretary's house (she was not home). It was annoying, although I was amused by the hand made signs I saw saying "SLOW BABY DEER". I also saw the car dealership where I bough t my first car all boarded up and sad, and I got to see the little store that was started by my old friend's little sister (the little sister passed away a few months ago, which was very sad, since in my head she was still a little girl).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I don't know why, but I have to emphasize that most stuff is pumpkin SPICE flavor, not pumpkin flavor.

Whyn't they just call it nutmeg flavor, then?

We will be here to remind you the next time the demons rear their ugly heads.

Yep.

Today I see the doctor to get the results of the first cholesterol test after I started taking the statin I didn't want to take. We'll see if the numbers are down. I suspect they are not, since I'm on a very low dose. I suspect he will increase the dose. But they took five or six vials of blood last week, so they must have been testing for more than cholesterol. We'll see how close I am to dead and what the doctor can scare me with this time.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm SUPER against taking a statin, even with the epic heart disease in my dad's family. (Actually, the fact that he's had 5 heart attacks even though he started taking statins after heart attack #1 seems like proof they aren't cardioprotective. Yes, his cholesterol has come way down, but he had 4 more heart attacks. So...I fail to see the benefit.)

And, shit, I need to go get another cholesterol test done. I'm like 5 months overdue. My doctor had me start taking red yeast rice supplements for my cholesterol, because clinical trials have shown a benefit. We'll see.
