I seriously could watch How It's Made for hours and hours and hours. It's like crack. If crack made you really mellow and zen.

We have a double-up band rehearsal tonight, so I have made crockpot chili and green chile cheesebread for the band. It is woeful, because the house has smelled SOOO good all day and I cannot eat it. I mean, I'm sure the band will appreciate it if I tell them I made them food but I ated it, but they will probably appreciate it more if I, you know, bring it with me.
That sounds way better than Subway.
So good.

Totally!
Except this one right now, because it's about a commercial chicken hatchery, and is actually slightly traumatic. And I'm sure this is the nicest part of factory farming chickens!
Bag of sun chips has me feeling a bit more charitable towards my fellow humans.

I've been cajoling Franny through an Emergency Planning poster assignment all day and my brain is zapped, but luckily DH has taken the kids to the local pool for one last jump off the spring board before the pools close. And a bit of needed quiet for me. I love being a mother, but I desperately need to be a little less needed.
