And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Pinned tabs sound useful, but what does right-clicking translate to in Mac?

Usually clicking with the Command (aka, Butterfly) button.

What is even happening?

Hey, all.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ctrl, not command, I think. Two-finger tap on a trackpad is what I use (or two-finger tap on iPad screen). Here's a rundown of several options, Burrell [link]

There's probably also a keyboard shortcut for pinning tabs but I don't know it.

It's not a pulled muscle in my shoulder, it's a catscratch all the way across my shoulder blade.

Time to trim the cats' claws.

Also, hot and stale in my office.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

what does right-clicking translate to in Mac?

The first thing I do on ANY Mac I find myself sitting at is to set up right-clicking and two-finger tapping in Settings. It drives me nuts that this functionality isn't enabled by default - why on earth would anyone NOT want the option to bring up contextual menus?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi Cindy!

If they're my mother and keep accidentally right-clicking on everything. (She programmed computers that went to the moon. She can't figure out a Mac.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm not sure I can handle the extra negativity in my life, but I am now following Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy on Twitter.

I just had a phone call with a DC headhunter, I thought to ask me some questions about my opinions on what the national professional organization for classics should do in terms of becoming more forward-thinking about technology, social media, and outreach, as they look to hire a new executive director (the outgoing one is retiring next year). But instead he suggested I consider exploring my candidacy for the position.

I am flattered, but not really sure this is either something I want to do or something I would be any good at. I have a week to think about it; we've scheduled a call for next week.
