So if you're a data center, you should probably make sure your front door router, the one through which you connect to the internet, which currently has no redundancy for reasons, is really really really not plugged into that power supply you just unplugged.

Place I used to work, we had a problem that the cleaning people would unplug the server so they could plug in the vacuum.
Later, there was a special room for the server ... only they discovered that the AC went off at night and the room got too hot. So they had a special AC unit installed ... and then had to put a cover over the server because there was a line going from the door to the AC unit that dripped condensation on the server.

At IEEE HQ, they built a special underground fortress of solitude for the servers. The place is all shiny and high-tech, with a glass wall so you can look in and see what you might have had if you'd gotten a degree in IT instead of liberal arts. It looks like the bridge of a starship in there.
