Tangentially, it occurs to me that with the many purple blazers I own I should put some effort into assembling a Joker costume (or subtly referential outfit, perhaps) of some sort.

PSA, people: do not got to IKEA during the start of the school year in a college metropolis. I thought I'd avoided them during move in by going to Target early last week, and mostly did. But they were all at IKEA today. Never occurred to me. And TJs was lousy with them yesterday. That'll slack off some as they figure out their schedules and start sleeping in Saturdays.....
