You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

brillig

I wear fuscia, but I'm a brownish-greying auburn.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Tangentially, it occurs to me that with the many purple blazers I own I should put some effort into assembling a Joker costume (or subtly referential outfit, perhaps) of some sort.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would say if you want to wear it, buy it. But if every time you wear it, you'll be thinking "I don't like how I look in this," don't buy it.

I don't think I would ever say redheads can't wear fuchsia.

Both of these.

I had a nice day with too many relatives, but now I am full and sleepy and don't want to do work, but someone is now mad at me. Whatevs.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, Buffistas! Buying it. You know I wanted to.

I am so spoiled by Amazon Prime and Zappos. Now $10.99 for shipping two articles of clothing regular post just seems exorbitant to me.

I hear you. I hope the shirt is great when it gets to you!

Man, the teaser ads for Scream Queen looked so good, but the actual ads do not look like my cup of tea. Rats.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

So now my mom is trying to convince me that I should rethink how her son n creeped me out in the bad touch way and that even beyond that incident, I was creeped out by him trying to force some blissful sibling relationship that we'd never had "but he *believed* it!", and now I'm biting my tongue on how I never ever liked him and wished that I'd had the guts to have stuck by my disownership of him when he was in jail trying to tell me how to live my life post-army/first year of college.

I won't say anything bad about it unless your specifically asking, but if you do ask, don't then try to make me change my mind about it. Fuck, woman.

Car should be fixed Tuesday afternoon/evening. Too far away. I'll drive into the early parts of Wednesday if that's what I'm left with. Honest co versatile with the family is not good. Especially for a woman who wants to turn her son into a saint. Oh, when he was sober, he was so good . . . Do how many hours was that over the past year and a half?

And well, I can't blame him since I do have such big boobs and he needed time to wrap his head around them.

Also, dad arranged the memorial service when lil bro has a shift, and at this point, I'm not coming back up three or four days after I leave here for an hours service. And if I hadn't come up when I had, I still wouldn't have made because I wouldn't be able to drive until Sunday.

While I'm angry, neighbor stopped by while I was weeding and said "hopefully he's at peace". So I guess the unhopeful option is that he isn't? Cool, maybe he's in hell, but hopefully not. Thanks.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The thrifting gods smiled upon me today: a barely-used pair of discontinued Fluevog boots!

Julie, you know your truth. I wish you luck in disengaging from them along those lines.

PSA, people: do not got to IKEA during the start of the school year in a college metropolis. I thought I'd avoided them during move in by going to Target early last week, and mostly did. But they were all at IKEA today. Never occurred to me. And TJs was lousy with them yesterday. That'll slack off some as they figure out their schedules and start sleeping in Saturdays.....

Oh, wow, Jilli, that's awesome!

I have probably not done all that absolutely could have today, if I had really tried, but I think I may have done enough. One more task and I'll be pretty pleased.

I really need to do something about the front yard, though. Supposed to be be cooler on Tuesday, maybe after work I can judiciously whack some weeds.
