I have been planning g what to do with my Saturday. I do not think I have it in me to sit in the house all day with sulky Mac. I am thinking light rail to Dallas, walking downtown and museums. 5 years and I am finally getting around to these things.

ION just got an invite to a "true colors personality spectrum" training at work. Omg thank dog it is voluntary.

Please let it involve Cyndi Lauper.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Last night I figured out just how much money I had spent in August, and thought about how much I will be spending in the second half of September, so now this weekend is going to involve a lot of staying home and not spending money.

Maybe I will even clean. That's free.

That's totally what I should do, Lee. Clean and not spend money.

That would be training I could get behind, msbelle. Would be a total bummer to sign up for it with that expectation and have it be what it probably is, though.

No one from the customer called into my conference call, not even the one guy who did RSVP. Nice little chat with Sales, though; K is going to Hilton Head for Labor Day.

information libertarian

I booked a hotel room for a work trip to NYC, and they've already charged my credit card, and work won't reimburse until the trip is over. And since it's in Manhattan, it's over $1000. Argh. What kind of annoying policy is this, hotel?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've got one like that - the hotel charges the first night when you book. But I can't get reimbursed without the receipt showing breakdown of room rate, taxes etc. (and presumably that it doesn't include a porn and mini-bar free-for-all).

Lee, my money spending twin. This is me except for how I'm going to Dragon*Con next week, where I'll try not to spend money on anything but the hotel room and food.

Oh, I also should see if anyone wants to pick up the moving boxes and packing paper before I leave on Wednesday.

I've gotten billed like that and it sucks. Worse with a debit card, learned that lesson.
