Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think the dermatolgist is confused

If that confuses him, *I* think you need a new dermatologist. Maybe one who's seen a fat person before.

btw, I must shill for Desitin ointment for diaper rash, and Gold Bond powder. I find these take care of problems caused by skin touching skin in humid environments (like the South, or one's pants, or one's pants in the South... I hate to sweat).

Just heard my husband saying to his headhunter, "I'd relocate if it was a really good job." I did not walk over to him and bop him on the head.

At least he used the singular?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The possible good thing about my itch/rash is that I practically have no pain- I think all my nerves are taken up with itch. My hip almost always hurts, and it hasn't hurt since the itch, and I didn't have cramps this month either!

How about "I'd relocate if it was a really good location."

Okay, I am trying to buy a dress for my brother's wedding, which is in October in Dallas, at an historic house event space-y place. The problem is I am really tall, and also, I discover, insanely fussy. Not a lot of places make dresses that fit me. Here are things I'm thinking about:

I know the tweed is not wedding-y, but I like the cut and the colors. There is also a tipped version in blue. [link]

Not loving the colorblock, but I love the blue. This is also wool, but maybe not as office-y looking? [link]

I feel like I ought to like this, but I sort of - don't. Also, none of the colors are good for me. [link]

Kinda meh on this one: [link]

Love the drape, but this is clearly not a wedding guest dress: [link]

Maybe too much bosom for me? [link]

Ditto. [link]

Thoughts?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like the blue colorblock

I think the one with the scalloped neckline is the most wedding-y.

The blue is my favorite.

I also tried this on in Macy's and it looks nice. But it feels sort of office-y and boring. And like, middle-aged. Which I am, but. [link]

It looks pretty, flea.

May I offer some Modcloth suggestions (these were all in their longer length category):

Bit of a retro silhouette (also comes in red) : [link]
