Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I am SUPER not prepared to Monday. Also, my coffee seems to be broken. It is functioning as a liquid, but not as a caffeine delivery system. I need to: (1) sleep more, and (2) once I wake up, read books in the a/c all day.

However, what I need more than those 2 things is an ongoing income, so I am editing despite the fact that I seem to only have 3 functioning brain cells today.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Points at what Dana said

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We are signed up on my benefits now, which relaxes me. But there's still so much to do.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

However, what I need more than those 2 things is an ongoing income, so I am editing despite the fact that I seem to only have 3 functioning brain cells today.

No, no, I'm sure I read somewhere that that's enough for a quorum. I mean, it worked that way on Inside Out, right?

I'm exhausted because I couldn't convince myself to go to bed early last night and then I got paranoid that I'd sleep through my alarm. I'd dearly love to be in a blanket burrito right now.

On the bright side, the spinach empanada I had for breakfast was A+ and I'll buy that one again next week at the farmer's market.

Moving truck will arrive tomorrow! That gives me a couple of days to unpack enough stuff to make room for the couch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't sleep that well either, and this is supposed to be the hottest week of the year, but I'm still not convinced I would sleep better with the air conditioner! The cycling on and off tends to wake me up. So maybe I'm going to stick it out a/c free for the whole summer.

I've just had two hours of more or less useless meetings, so now I guess it's time to do some work?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I need to: (1) sleep more, and (2) once I wake up, read books in the a/c all day.

This is an excellent plan, I would like to sign up for this program.

Hahahaha the Zombies, Run! virtual race will be in late October. Of course I have to do that one. So that'll be three that month...who is this person and how did I become her?

Yay stuff! Yay benefits!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary's at work and I am here. Let's see how the day goes.

brillig

I have gotten through the summer on the ceiling fans, augmented by a box fan through the worst weeks. We've always had an a/c in the window before, but I sleep cooler that Hubby did. The electricity bill is happier.
