Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Dana speaks for me.

Home grown tomatoes are good!

In my professional life, I don't actually mind the emotional labor (I feel like costumes is like, 70% emotional labor)-- I just wish that we got paid commensurate with the people who do physical labor. I have been told that set building people get paid more because if the set fails, it would cause physical harm to the actors, but I am running around making sure people don't get harmed emotionally!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We had curry chicken salad and deviled eggs for dinner. Total nom. The heat of the day is gone and it is so nice eating on the back porch, enjoying a glass of wine, and just relaxing.

Inorite?

I don't much love raw tomatoes, but really fresh ripe tomatoes just off the vine are pretty great.

My panzanella came out really tasty and I shouldn't drink any more wine.

I am so close to defaulting on this damned story. Argh.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I mean, I have no trouble just eating mozzarella and basil, but that seems kind of gluttonous, whereas caprese salad seems breezy and healthy and so continental.

My neighbor doesn't like tomatoes either and was on a mission to create a tomatoless Bloody Mary. She liked the result with a cuke, red pepper and celery veg combo.

I've been eating tons of tiny strawberry tomato, cuke and feta salad with champagne dressing. I will note there is such thing as too much, but your mouth won't tell you that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Because of the heat, I didn't do much of the cleaning I meant to do, but I did register for a 5K in October with -t! There is wine and a groupon involved, but still.

That will be very fun! Eta: and I should put it on my calendar right now because I have already forgotten when we are doing that...

I am actually okay with tomato juice (given enough spices) and sauces. Maybe cold tomato soup with mozzarella balls and basil would do for me? Today I have none of those things, of course.

Hahahahaha the other 5k I'm already signed up for that I thought was in September is also in October. Not the same weekend, though, I'm sure it'll be fine. Also in San Jose, oddly enough.
