Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

After running all over creation, (Towson) I came home and went to war with rats, swam, 2 loads of laundry and cleaned the first floor. Soon as last load is done, I'll make up my bed and take a third shower.

I have gotten stinky between every shower today.

Having the aftercare for free is great, Kat! Sound like all in all it will work out well.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

We just got through the Trojan War. Just under 3 hours to go!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's called All Our Tragic

Want!

Interesting other news, I'm taking a break from my nephew's wedding reception. It's lovely--robot themed as they met in robotics. But it's been 6 hours of crowds of people I do not know, so my inner introvert is a bit tired. But I met my niece's seminary student fiancé, and I'm liking him a lot.

Every time a character is introduced their name is written on a chalkboard. Then a line is drawn through the name when they die. I wish I'd taken a pic at each break.

Ha! That's great.

I have run all the errands I'm going to do today. I mean, sure, I could do more, but I am hot and tired and nope nope nope. I'm now sipping Macallan and contemplating dinner. Tomorrow morning I'm going to check out the farmer's market and then have a picnic lunch with friends at Golden Gate park.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do Tep, but I am like two weeks behind. But Dina is the best, anyway.

That sounds amazing, aurelia! Want.

Robotic-themed wedding also sounds amazing.

I am so tired but it is still too hot to sleep. Fortunately it was not too hot yet when dad and I did our 5k with very steep hills. My time was slower than my last one (no surprise, I really didn't train and those were some serious climbs) but i feel better about it. It was my dad's first and he walked it, as planned, but only took 3 minutes longer than me. I am a very slow runner. Dad also came in second for his age group (70-75 which had only two entrants) so he gets a special medal. We didn't realize until after we came home so he'll have to get it mailed to him.

Tomorrow is another 5k. I hope it is not too hot. Planning to walk, in any case.

YOU NEED TO CATCH UP.

Ahem.

Tomorrow is another 5k.

That's pretty badass.

Or foolish. Or both.

Lemme see what I can do DoA-wise.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I like that webcomic a lot. And Dina. ( I'm a big fan of the "Terrible Lizbians" moniker. )
