Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Just made the connection between overall faster swims since vacation (not just the past 2 days) and my newish bras misbehaving. It's not just the winter weight going, shape's changing, again. Which yay, but I don't want more bra shopping in my future...
My dad is awesome. Felicia Day was doing a book signing tonight in the little bookstore that's like five minutes from my parents' house, and he went and waited on line for an hour to have her sign a book for me. (He is a fan of hers, but there's no way he would have gone out and waited on that line, especially on a work night, if he wasn't getting the book for me.)
I fill up when it gets to a quarter tank. Hubby always said, "But you've got a quarter of a tank, you're fine!" Don't care.
During hurricane season, I try not to let the tank go under half filled. This year I'm not doing too great at that.
There was one time a few years ago that I ran out of gas while I was driving, and I've been pretty paranoid about refilling it once it gets down to a quarter of a tank ever since.
I am on hold with Amazon. Once I'm done with that, I'm not doing anything but drinking and watching stuff like Last Week Tonight on YouTube.
Edit: $10 knocked off the order!
The last week tonight last week was pretty awesome, for what it's worth

You are correct, and watching it while drinking a beer was an excellent use of my time.

Good call.
Coincidentally, my "buy gas now" light came on when I was on my way home tonight, but it went off again so I just came on home instead of going directly to a gas station because I live on the edge like that. Crossing my fingers that I will have enough gas to get to the nearest station in the morning.
No car fires witnessed.
