I eat between 4 and 6, usually, because I am hungry by then, dammit. Also, I am done with work (or supposed to be) at 3:30, so my whole day is kind of shifted.
Natter 74: Ready or Not

My coworker just said he was "OK. Better than bad" and I really want to sing "It's Log" at him but I don't think he would get the reference.
At home? Dinner time is whenever we feel hungry, and is utter dependent on the previous meals of the day. When I was growing up, 6pm or as close thereto as my mother's work schedule allowed. At the houses where I work, we generally aim to eat around 5pm (day programs tend to have lunch at 11-11:30am).
It's very frustrating to me that one of my favorite restaurants closes between lunch and dinner so I can't just swing by on my way home from work.
I eat dinner as soon as possible, generally 6:00-6:30. This is why I almost never cook dinner. I might heat something up, but hardly ever cook something that takes more than 10 minutes.
It's not a disaster, but I just really wanted to have a couch today. I have nothing to sit on.
Also, when I moved to Boston, I spent a few days sitting on a sofa I made of empty boxes. So that's a thing!
With regard to dinner, I am Jesse. ASAP! I am not sure what I would do if I had a family who wanted something cooked, because I am HANGRY by the time I get home.
What dishes did you end up with, shrift?
I have to admit I started hearing “PIVOT! PIVOT!” in my head and giggling.
I resisted saying this to the delivery guys, but I wanted to.

Nuts, I already put my boxes in the recycling bins. That'll show me!

The Little Hoot dishes by Rachael Ray. It was one of the big plates that arrived broken.
All right! Time to call to cancel my renter's insurance in Illinois and maybe try to do some work while I wait for the delivery guys to come back. The xfinitywifi hotspot I'm signed into isn't fast, but it's better than no wifi at all.
And just as I was dialing to call an insurance agent, the delivery guys called to tell me they can't make it back this afternoon. I guess I'm going to investigate smaller couch options and have a chat with their customer service.
