Much working things out~ma, Typo Boy.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes yesterday, y'all. I went from work to a massage, then to dinner, then to a long phone call with my sister, then to eating some desert I picked up at the local co-op that seemed to be chocolate mousse laced with slated caramel and covered in ganache. There was no room in all that goodness for watching HRC debate a rancid Cheeto, and that suited me just fine.
Can he actually litigate if the race isn't close?
I was wondering that, too, but I suspect the bigger HRC's victory, the more that he'll howl it was rigged.
They may not be the hot dessert item anymore, but I really like cupcakes
Same! And I love anything dulce de leche. Maybe I'll do some baking this weekend....
Jamie Lee Curtis is my new BFF.
Love that!
Can he actually litigate if the race isn't close?
Well, he could try. He does have to come up with something other than "it was rigged" to get a case heard, and he will still have to bring cases in local jurisdictions. Bush v. Gore went through the Florida courts before heading to the Supreme Court. He can't challenge the whole outcome nationally.
When I hear things like that, I think he is literally the bed bug infestation we will never be completely rid of.
Douglas Macarthur and George Patton?
OMG. I hate hearing about how retaking Mosul should be a surprise attack like it's some sort of fucking commando raid. The Iraqi army isn't going to be able to keep a major mobilization under the covers.
Anybody else use My Fitness Pal? I started using it to track my eating and exercise (once my knee heals up).
Yes, Gud, I have used it off and on for years. They have a great database of foods and exercises. I have never used the forums, don't know how useful those are. But the interface is good, and you can save regular meals for quick input.
Oh & lisah: where did Kiss&Makeup go?
Across the street in the little shop space beneath Luigi's. It's a much more manageably sized, less rat invested space for her.

It's so infuriating. As in so many other areas, his ignorance really shows, and he's not getting called on it half enough. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I know way more about military history than Trump does, and I can hardly think of any examples of STRATEGIC surprise. Surprise is generally about TACTICS. Such exceptions as I can think of are mostly at the start of hostilities, and even then the signs are usually there if the about-to-be-attacked country isn't too deep in denial.
