It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Serial: JLC is a awesome as you might have heard. She is going to be directing an episode and she is spending her entire directing fee on the crew, to thank them for making her look good. This what she was speaking with our friend Andy about. This includes hiring food trucks, personalized gifts for over 200 people and several other cool things. She's a class act.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Scrappy had a good day!

Happies for the birthdays I missed.

I also missed the debate due to keeping all screens off, trying to tame this migraine. I was up, sick, half of Monday night, and slept most of Tuesday. I felt not 100% but okay enough to go to work in the morning. By the time I got there the headache was starting again and kept building. I gave in and left around 4. I slept most of the evening, iced the back of my neck, massaged the knots in my neck... all to very little effect.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much working things out~ma, Typo Boy.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes yesterday, y'all. I went from work to a massage, then to dinner, then to a long phone call with my sister, then to eating some desert I picked up at the local co-op that seemed to be chocolate mousse laced with slated caramel and covered in ganache. There was no room in all that goodness for watching HRC debate a rancid Cheeto, and that suited me just fine.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Can he actually litigate if the race isn't close?

I was wondering that, too, but I suspect the bigger HRC's victory, the more that he'll howl it was rigged.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They may not be the hot dessert item anymore, but I really like cupcakes

Same! And I love anything dulce de leche. Maybe I'll do some baking this weekend....

Jamie Lee Curtis is my new BFF.

Love that!

Can he actually litigate if the race isn't close?

Well, he could try. He does have to come up with something other than "it was rigged" to get a case heard, and he will still have to bring cases in local jurisdictions. Bush v. Gore went through the Florida courts before heading to the Supreme Court. He can't challenge the whole outcome nationally.

Because books.

When I hear things like that, I think he is literally the bed bug infestation we will never be completely rid of.

Douglas Macarthur and George Patton?

OMG. I hate hearing about how retaking Mosul should be a surprise attack like it's some sort of fucking commando raid. The Iraqi army isn't going to be able to keep a major mobilization under the covers.

Anybody else use My Fitness Pal? I started using it to track my eating and exercise (once my knee heals up).

Yes, Gud, I have used it off and on for years. They have a great database of foods and exercises. I have never used the forums, don't know how useful those are. But the interface is good, and you can save regular meals for quick input.
