Thanks for the sizing input. Most of the ones I'm looking at are waist or empire waist, so that will be the key measurement, and those usually fall about right on me, trunk-lenght-wise, generally. But I also think they're all in the cotton knit or jersey, so that's more forgiving.
Now to decide between the deep V or the shallow V. I like deep better. Maybe deep V and cami as needed for work depending how it falls on me. Work being in North Carolina at an office I have yet to visit in person. But -- holiday part on 12/12.
I find their deep V-necks very deep, almost to the point of a misdemeanor.
Ha! OK, thanks, that's good to know.
JenP, my sizing issues are bust related and back related. Also the dresses were shockingly short waisted to me. And I'm already short waisted. I only tried ones that had no give, though. So perhaps I'd feel differently with a more forgiving fabric?
Early voting in Texas starts on the 24th. We close on the new house on the 24th and move (in theory) on the 26th. I'm worried if I update my voter registration now, something will go wrong if I try to vote in the new place.
Yes, make sure you get the vote in on the 24th then! I have visions of Texas surprising people.
It doesn't even sound like a stretch, does it.
Alarmingly plausible. Be as official and rule-following as you can.

Yeah, mine is a deep v, and it's just barely on the side of propriety.
Also the dresses were shockingly short waisted to me. And I'm already short waisted.
Good to know, Kat! I'm long-waisted and already disappointed in several recent online dresses that looked totally fine on the models but were practically empire-waisted on me, even after ordering a size up to accommodate for bosomal amplitude. If eShakti is short-waisted on an already short-waisted person, it's clearly very emphatically not going to be my beautiful cake.
