I find their deep V-necks very deep, almost to the point of a misdemeanor.
Yeah, mine is a deep v, and it's just barely on the side of propriety.
Also the dresses were shockingly short waisted to me. And I'm already short waisted.
Good to know, Kat! I'm long-waisted and already disappointed in several recent online dresses that looked totally fine on the models but were practically empire-waisted on me, even after ordering a size up to accommodate for bosomal amplitude. If eShakti is short-waisted on an already short-waisted person, it's clearly very emphatically not going to be my beautiful cake.
Thanks, all. I don't have the bust area amplitude, so maybe that will mitigate short waisting a bit. I think I need to order one to try. I mean, it's the only way to find out, right? Thanks, all. Now, finding a tape measure might be an issue.
I just got a Craigslist item out the door at my asking price! Woo! Now to get the remaining two pieces out of here.
Oh, football, what the fuck.
Unexpected moving conundrum--packing my tiaras. Oooh, the box my bobbin lace is stored in is a good size.
I currently only have the motivation to catch up here and listen to the Nascar race.
But! I've read three books in the last ten days. I'd completely fallen out of reading actual books (also got out of a pretty deep depression less than two weeks ago) and forgotten how much I loved curling up with a paperback.

I have this problem with a lot of clothes, because I like a v-neck but I have the boob amplitude. My favorite solution is from a company called Halftee. They make tank and sleeved shirts that stop at a soft underbust band, out of lightweight fabric or lace, that are meant to provide cleavage and/or arm coverage for tops that are too revealing. They're less bulky and warm than wearing a t-shirt or camisole underneath. In case anyone wants to try that out.
I have had good luck with eShakti for cotton knits- the broadcloth ones I have bust issues as well. The only problem I have had is that they finish the cap knit sleeves with a woven ribbon, so the edges of the sleeves don't stretch. If you have plus size arms, this can be a problem. They just fit me, but I have proportionately small arms, back and shoulders for a size 20.
